Resumes that Rock!

Resumes offer an employer their first glimpse of a potential job candidate. It’s essential that your resume make a favorable impression on that employer. Your resume will be quickly scanned, rather than read. Ten to twenty seconds is the average amount of time you have to persuade a prospective employer to read further. As a result, the top half of the first page of your resume could either make you or break you. By the time the employer has read the first few lines, you have either caught their interest or not. You want your resume to have the same result as a well-written ad: to get the reader to respond.
