Plastic wrap = Halloween costume?

I meant to post this last week (sorry!), but it’s great.

An Athens-Clarke County Police officer was writing a parking citation at Cloverhurst and Finley around 9 a.m. Thursday when a guy wearing only plastic wrap passed him. He thought the man was merely shirtless, but when he got back into his patrol car, he noticed the guy was wearing the clear wrap while holding one end over his right shoulder.

The man walked behind Oglethorpe House, and the officer couldn’t get out of the patrol car in time to catch him! He was described as between 18 and 22, 5′9″ to 5′10″ and around 160 pounds.

I laughed out loud when I read this at the police station Friday. Two men who were waiting in the lobby to talk to a detective looked up at me. Good times.

Did anyone see this guy? If I lived in OHouse, it would definitely be a shock to me to walk to class around 9 a.m. and see this guy outside of my dorm. At least it was the night after Halloween, otherwise it would be a bit too creepy. I’m thinking he was hungover and trying to find his way home. Anyone agree? :)
