Beat a cop?

This is no ordinary underage possession story.

Kara Rae Armstrong and Michael Alex Reich were charged with underage possession at the Alpha Chi Omega house when they trespassed on the property at 1:14 a.m. on Nov. 11.

According to the University Police report, Reich resisted being placed in handcuffs and also resisted being placed in the patrol car. While in the car, Armstrong said she was having an asthma attack. EMS said they would take her to Athens Regional Medical for psychiatric evaluation because she said she wanted to kill herself.

Armstrong then refused to get out of the patrol car for medical treatment and punched the officer in the face several times, leaving a mark on his face and breaking his glasses.

Reich was taken to the Clarke County Jail, and Armstrong was taken to the jail after being cleared through Athens Regional. Her bond was posted at $15,000!
