Guess which is which.

Ugg clogs! Positively raucous! Pink and pink! Fluffy, wholly inappropriate mini-skirt recalling Abercrombie Kids circa-2001!
Don’t guess, I’ll tell you. Victoria, shown directly above, wins. She was stunning all the way around.

I feel bad for people who wear clogs, especially people who bring the clog-ankle sock combination into play. I don’t feel like this was an inappropriate instance for telling people this is never all right. It also helps that you kept it tasteful by not showing her face or anything, although if she keeps it up, people will know.
Wow, beautiful! I WANT THAT SCARF.
Those choices are interchangeable.
While Victoria is clothes that are smartly trimmed, she’s got a lot of patterns going on: pinstripes, spot pattern and a busy red scarf. Take the scarf away and it would hang together all right, better yet pick solid color that doesn’t wash her out. I imagine she is wearing flats, despite that her shoes were cropped out of the picture, that would have been a nice comparision since this is a “do and “don’t.”
The other girl at least kept all her colors working together, even though the cut of her clothes is less sophisticated. I personally don’t care for clogs, but this particular set looks fine with the matching socks.
Sean,
I still easily prefer Victoria’s layered patterns - sophisticated and chic, even as they compete for one’s eye - to Don’t’s matchy-matchy*, unflattering and indecent combination.
As for your remark on Victoria’s shoes being cropped out, blame it on working with a camera phone. As it turns out, they were lace-up, badass Oxford looking deals.
Let the Don’t/Do dialog continue! Thanks for contributing.
*The scientific term.
Are the girls in these pictures UGA students?
Holly,
As girl from Photo #1 was picking up text books, I can assume so. Victoria in Photo #2 is for sure.
Personally, since it is rather personal, considering it’s my smiling face in the second picture…I am offering a diplomatic rebuttal for Sean. I completely agree with you voicing your own opinion, as I also agree with your right to have it. I do understand that not everyone loves pattern like I do. They just make me happy daggnabit! In such the same way as perhaps her Uggs make the first girl smile, so too do my outfits. And of course: Thanks to Valentina for this post! It made my day.
