I just can’t turn the style filing off. Forgive the absence; I’ve been in France for the past month on a study abroad trip for the Cannes Film Festival. What this means, however, is that we’ve got some red carpet and Paris street style soon to come.
First, a taste of awards ceremony style on the cast of the Peabody Award-winning show Mad Men - 6/16:
A blurry January Jones, whose name sounds more invented than her character Bretty Draper’s.
The dress, despite being less-than-appropriate for a day-time luncheon, was stunning. The color, the texture and its volume all made Jones stand the hell out - it distinguished its wearer as one in the possession of a certain degree of BLAM.
